Insurance
We read the policy wording so you do not have to, place the risk with an insurer whose cover fits, and review it every year.
Three policies
Your home is likely to be your most valuable asset, so the cover on it deserves more than a price comparison.
A standard home policy may not respond when a tenant is living in the property. Landlord insurance is written for the risks of letting.
Think about what your family would need to keep their standard of living if you were not there, or could not work. Protection is how you put that in place.
Add-ons
Each of these attaches to a home or landlord policy arranged through us.
Add-on cover
Keep the household running when a pipe bursts or a drain blocks. An engineer, a helpline that answers at any hour, and no repair bill to find.
Add-on cover
A boiler that fails in January is more than uncomfortable. This cover gets a Gas Safe engineer to you and pays for the repair.
Add-on cover
Boiler, heating, plumbing, drainage, electrics and pests in one policy, so whatever fails, one call sorts it.
From £5.50 a month
White goods break at the worst moment. Appliance cover pays for the repair or replacement, with no limit on the number of call-outs.
Good to know
The cost to rebuild the property, not its market value. Rebuild cost is usually lower in London because the land is most of the price. We can help you check the figure.
No, but most buy-to-let mortgage lenders require buildings cover, and letting without protection for the building and your liability is a large risk to carry yourself.
It is not a legal requirement, but if someone depends on your income to keep the home, a policy that clears the mortgage if you die is the simplest way to make sure they keep it.
A short form, no obligation, and nothing is applied for until you say so.
Cover is subject to underwriting and to the terms and conditions of the policy. Conditions and exclusions apply. Please refer to the policy documents for full details.
